West Maui Condo
Hi All
Heading to Maui next summer for a family vacation, looking for a beach front condo in west Maui; as we will be up to swimming and snorkeling mainly, so, I wonder if anybody could advice which area in west Maui will be OK for us!! also, a recommended hotel or resort.
All suggestions are highly appreciated.

The Whaler, Kanapaali Alii, Napili Point, Napili Kai Beach Resort, One Napili Way and Kapalua Villas. There are so many.
The best snorkeling as I remember in West Maui is Black Rocks at Kanapaali Beach and Napili Beach.

Try www.vrbo.com for private party rentals. We have stayed at the Kaanapalli Alii several times and it is a great location and the best property in West Maui.
However, ocean is pretty rough and not good for snorkeling. Mostly you see surfing.
Another place you might want to look is Resort Quest Kaanapalli Shores. We just stayed there in January and loved it and cheaper than the Alii.
I am not sure the west Maui location is going to be that great for swimming or snorkeling. We did stay several years ago at the Kahana Sunset which had a small cove and beach that wasn't bad for swimming if you stayed in close.
