    My stay was wonderful. The Paia Inn has plenty of amenities you would associate with big tourist hotels. The 5 room Hotel has wireless internet access, luxurious 500 thread-count sheets, Flat screen TVs with cable, private travertine tiled bathrooms, fully stocked mini-bars, and private beach access. This is the place to stay on the North Shore of Maui. Tons of restaurants and boutiques are with in walking distance.

    Unique Quality: * Private Beach Access
    * Spacious Outdoor Patio
    * Lobby Lounge with Music and Flat Screen Television
    * Yoga in the Yard
    * Bicycle, Surfboard and Stand-up Paddle Board Rentals
    * Free Wireless High-Speed Internet Access
    * Concierge Services
    * Catering and Entertainment Available for Events
    * In-Room Massage and Spa Services Available Upon Request
    * Room Service
    * Morning Coffee Bar

Paia Inn, a beachtown boutique hotel

by NinaHupp about Paia Inn

You might want to check out a newly opened hotel in Paia town. It has 5 rooms all with their own private bathroom, flat screen TV's, and wireless internet access. Their website is: www.PaiaInn.com Their rates start at about $199 a night. The great thing is the hotel is right in Paia town, so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. There is a great beach park with a basketball court right next to the hotel.

The Paia Inn Hotel served us perfectly!

by TripAdvisor Member cruiser949

My 30-year old daughter & I stayed at the Paia Inn Hotel for 4 nights this past August. What we wanted was a special place to recharge and base out of, and that is exactly what we got ... the Paia Inn Hotel served us perfectly!, full of character and charm, which is what I always look for:)

What stood out most about the Paia Inn Hotel? a) the staff is just plain excellent, b) the building is historical & the rooms delightful, and c) the location could not be better, in the heart of Paia town. Add to that, wonderful artwork, coffee and "goodies" freshly delivered every morning (upstairs where the guest rooms are located), and a cosy, private patio to enjoy 24/7! Oh, and there is beach access too!

Would I go back? YOU BET, in a New York second, actually in a California second!

Paia rocks

First of all Paia rocks, like I always tell my friends.The brand new Paia Inn is not the same old big chain hotel. The town of Paia is not a franchise town its a groovy town, Paia Inn is a great asset for it. I will return Milton Landry

Fantastic Boutique Inn

The Paia Inn Hotel is a little gem on the north shore of Maui. Conveniently located right in town within a block of great restaurants on one side and beach access on the other, it is a unique little Inn. Extremely friendly staff, high quality furnishings, comfortable - a real treat to stay there. From the morning coffee and muffins to the wet bar and beautiful artwork, this Inn has some nice touches. Highly recommend it.

A Treasure on Maui

The Paia Inn offers incredible accommodations. The inn is wonderfully decorated and the rooms are wonderful. Besides the excellence of the rooms, the staff were incredible. I can't imagine a better environment thanks to the friendliness of everyone that we worked with. The next time we stay in Maui, we will definitely make sure to spend at least of couple of nights at the Paia Inn.

Staff were GREAT!

What a delight finding the Paia Inn Hotel - the phrase "Hip Hotel" is very fitting. Was on Maui for a business trip...could not have asked for better accomodations. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel(used it in the Zen garden quite a bit). Excellent Staff! Walk to shopping, beach, dining.

the Sweetest staff & the hippest boutique hotel

by TripAdvisor Member Hawk-Linda

We stumbled on this gem and were just blown away by the hospitality of ALL the staff including the cleaning lady. We felt so welcome while at the same time had tons of privacy to enjoy the quiet breakfasts on the patio in the morning by ourselves. One of my many favorite memories is sipping coffee in the warming sun on the patio in the morning catching up on a few quick emails with the wireless internet access everywhere and feeling so bad for my colleagues back in rainy Vancouver!:)

We travel a lot and have stayed in many 5 star establishments around the world and I would say the "feel" of Paia Inn is definitely one of our favorites anywhere in the world. It doesn't happen very often but I'm actually looking for an excuse to return to Maui just so we can spend a few more days in this lovely town and cool hotel.

Great Place for Romance!!

by TripAdvisor Member mauihound

Once a year we try to get away by ourselves without the kids to re-connect. The hotel was fantastic from service to room decor, comfortable beds and perfect for just being by ourselves. Very private. Staff was very accomodating to our needs. Late check-out, which allowed us some extra time to take time. The beach was very close. Very quiet. We'll definitely come back.

a different take on Maui

by TripAdvisor Member glitterrock

If you like a travel experience where, rather than being isolated at a resort full of fellow visitors, you are staying in the center of a vibrant village, this is your place to stay. Paia is arguably the most fun town on Maui. Hipper than Lahaina, stylish shops and restaurants with reasonably priced, delicious food are all within a couple of blocks of this inn. The rooms are spotless and on the small side, but well-appointed. Parking is just downstairs from the rooms and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

where to stay in Maui? looking for affordable and close to beach!

by Lucyxxxx

Hi all,

it will be our first time to Maui and even though we did a lot of research on the internet on where to stay, we haven't found 'our' place yet.
We are a couple in our 30's looking for a quiet lush place near the beach, away from car and construction noise. We have seen awesome places on the internet but the prices are very high. Since we are staying for 10 nights, 100USD would be our max for 1 night. We would like any kind of accomodation: resort, hotel B&B, owner direct rentals, as long as it is clean, near a beach and affordable!

Anyone out there that has recommendations?
We would really appreciate your help!

Thanks!

Check out the Best Western in S. Kihei. They run "manager" specials right around $100 per night. It is right on the beach side of S. Kihei Road, no room is more than a 2 minute walk to the beach.

We found the Luana Kai in North Kihei in '05 and are SO glad we did!! We just returned from our third stay there and are planning to return again in June of '09.

It's a lovely, smallish (113 units) resort with wonderful grounds and large, clean rooms. It is right on the beach and the views, especially from buildings "A" and "D" are unsurpassed.

An 800 sq ft 1 br, 1 ba condo will run from $99 to $119 depending on the season and whether or not you reserve directly from the owner via VRBO or through the resort itself. I have some pictures posted in my profile.

The Paia Inn is a great place to stay! The town is just lovely with so many cute shops, and great places to eat! The beach is one minutes walk with private beach access. Everything at the Paia Inn in new as its just been remodeled. They serve breakfast and coffee in the morning for free- so although its a little more prices than you may be looking for the free breakfast, free parking, free wireless internet...could save you some money too! Check out www.paiainn.com I think you would love it!
