Outrigger Reef Towers
Unique Quality: Most hotels in Hawaii were part of the Outrigger chain, when I went there in 97. They seem to have been renamed "Ohana", now. In Oahu, one should stay in Waikiki. Hotels are good, even the non-pricy, non-fancy ones, like this one where I stayed. We got a room for 5 people and it was huge, and though the buildings seemed to be a few decades old (like many others in Waikiki), accomodation was quite modern, functional, and very pleasant.

Q: Oahu Ghost Tours "I keep hearing about Oahu Ghost Tours. Has anyone been on one of their tours? If so, how was it? Was it cheesy? Really spooky?..."
A: "I think my sister-in-law will be taking a ghost tour while on the island during the second week of May next month. I'll post here after I get her feedback."
