Considering the Ohana Waikiki Surf (2200 Kuhio Avenue.) in Honolulu?

Get an Aerial View of Paradise by Hopkid
The flight pattern for arriving flights to Honolulu take a route that skirts the south end of the island giving passengers on the right side of the aircraft a great view (when it's not cloudy) of Diamond Head and Waikiki. It's a nice first glimpse of Hawaii as you arrive. On the depature, flights take off high and also fly south of Waikiki thereby giving passengers on the left side of the plane one last view of paradise. The flight goes along the coast past the Aloha Tower, Waikiki, Diamond Head, Koko Head and Hanauma Bay before heading northeast and over the Pacific. I think the Hawaii Tourism Board must have some kind of "in" with the FAA. ; )
So to recap, when making your seat selections, get window seats as follows:
Arrival: Right side
Departure: Left sideWatching the sunset amid pupus, drinks, and live Hawaiian music at the House Without A Key at the Halekulani Hotel.
