Waikiki Circle hotel lobby by Karlie85 I chose the Aston Waikiki Circle because I was booking a flight and hotel package through Air Canada, and this was one of the cheaper hotels and is in a good location in Waikiki East, right across the street from the beach. The room we had was quite basic, with two double beds, a desk, TV, and mini fridge. My husband and I ended up pushing the beds together to make one giant bed, which worked out pretty well. The beds are pretty comfortable, although we could tell the linens were a bit old and a little scratchy. All rooms have a balcony. We got one with a partial ocean view, which was alright, but which we probably wouldn't get next time just because we didn't spend any time sitting on it. Most of the view was of other buildings, and about a quarter of it was ocean. The bathroom is a fine size with just a shower, no tub, and blow drier. One cute touch is that there is a little bucket and pail in the bathroom, which is nice if you have kids. The staff were really nothing special. They weren't super friendly, but they weren't rude, either. Parking is available right underneath the hotel for $12 a day, which isn't bad compared to other hotels in the area. It's not valet, which I personally like better. The parking lot has room for about 25 cars, so it may or may not be full when you get there. Internet is available for a fee, but we just went to the Apple store a couple of blocks down and used their internet for free if we needed it. The hotel itself is, as the name suggests, round, which is kind of neat. There isn't really a lobby to the hotel. The front desk area is outside when you walk up to the hotel. Check out is at 12 noon. Our flight wasn't until 11pm, and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel in a locked room that looks like it used to be some sort of dining area. Usually when we're on O'ahu we rent a car and explore the island, but it's very nice to have Waikiki Beach directly across the street from the hotel when you're feeling lazy and just want to walk across the street to relax. I would stay here again.
