Idaho's Winter Playground/ Best Value
Good value for the money. What a surprising gem in the snowy mountains of Idaho. All dressed up for Christmas. Warm & cozy inside while it was fun to play outside in the snow. They have snowshoes that they let the guests borrow. Great big breakfast buffet to give you a good meal to start the day. Warm cookies at night to end the perfect day of play. Your own fireplace & robes in your room. Tables in the Cascade Room are open for us to gather together and play games and talk as a group. Bring your swim suit. We forgot to bring ours so we had to watch the other swim and soak in the hot tub.
We highly recommend this Inn to groups of couples & families. They have gathering rooms and places, fireplaces in both lobbies plus in your own room. "Friendly and caring" is what I'd call the staff. Close to McCall. Good for snowmobilers & skiers. Have natural hot springs close by, but we haven't gone there yet (no swimsuit, remember?).
I ck'd "more expensive than average" for Cascade, but that's because no other hotel compares to it. Others are small 7 -10 room motel with no breakfast, gathering rooms, fireplaces, pool, etc.
Unique Quality: Warm friendly feeling when you walk in, hard to describe.

Indoor heated pool & spa, unique for that area, nice looking area, easy to enjoy
Lake Cascade, just 1 mile away, ice fishing, X-county skiing, snowmobiling on the lake & trails.
Beautiful drive to Cascade, no matter which way on Hwy 55.
Bring your camera, beautiful scenery & wildlife everywhere.

Best Unknown Hotel in Idaho
Ashley Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Whether your there in the summer or winter there are always plenty of activities in the surrounding areas, and Ashley has many connections to day activities. The rooms are spacious and always clean with a cozy fireplace in each room and a sitting area.
Unique Quality: They provide a wonderful breakfast, workout room, pool and hot tub, and freshly baked cookies and milk every night.

Idaho's Best Inn
This is our second stay at the Ashley Inn. Such a classy and homey place. We came for my birthday and to enjoy the McCall Winter Carnival. Also went on the Elk Feeding sleigh ride and tubing down the hill. The whole family had a great time. It's the nicest place in Cascade or McCall because you get to come back to a fireplace in your room, heated pool & spa and your stay includes the large breakfast & cookies. Regarding rates, it is a good value for what you get. The other places in Cascade are just small one room motels, no lobby, fireplaces, gathering places, gardens or pool. In the summer they have kayaks and canoes for their guests to use. We're coming back this summer. Lake Cascade has a golf course right on it.
