Tumbling Waters Inn: Walk across the street to the hot pools

This very old two story motel type hotel is under new management. They are attempting to slowly upgrade the place and maybe eventually it can be very nice. At the moment it is passable. Except for the fireplace the best part of the room was the ceiling. Really.

The room was a good size, had a microwave and small refrigerator which was very helpful for breakfast. The in-room gas fireplace was a nice way to heat the room and was very cosy at the same time. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We felt like the room was very comfortable and much much better than the Lava Hot Springs Inn.

I like the fact that it is right on the river and in the summer it would be great to just walk out to chairs and tables set there to enjoy.

The few issues we had were that the doors and locks were cheap, the decor was old.

Unique Quality: The best part about the room was that it was close to the hot pools, which made a multiple entry ticket very helpful. We were able to use the hotel to change and had a little more privacy. The bad part about that is the hotel shares its parking with general parking for the pools, so finding a spot wasn't easy.

It is not longer a part of the Home Hotel ownership. Some (most?) websites still list it there. Check-in was at the Outpost retail store at 155 East Main (at least during the winter).
