"Just West of Naperville"

I will start my Aurora page, today with one restaurant review, but hopefully add some additional pages and info on this home page as I make more trips back.

Aurora is a another suburb of Chicago just west of my hometown of Naperville. Aurora is actually bigger then Naperville by about 20,000 residents and in fact is either the 2nd or 3rd largest city in Illinois depending on who is counting heads.

2 years ago in November, 2007 Sue and I had the opportunity to go to the Paramount theatre in downtown Aurora, which is a 1930's theatre which has been renovated in the last 15 years, to listen to a lecture and slide show by one of Public Broadcasting travel gurus, Rick Steves. This was about the same time as I joined VT and we began our VT travel adventures.
