Stay somewhere else! The staff and owners are rude and make promises they don't keep; one of them told us she'd been working for over 20 hours and couldn't help acting the way she did. One of them told us the hotel owner's girlfriend - calls herself the wife - stations herself in the office adjacent to the front desk and pushes her weight around, acting defensive about the hotel shortcomings. We reserved a block for a medium-size party and were promised that the rooms would be available upon our arrival, mid-morning. By 1:30 pm half of our party was still sitting out in the dirty lobby (after spending all night traveling). Instead of apologizing they chose to yell at our group leader and tell us if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else. One of our Senior Citizens waited five hours for a room. I'm convinced the hotel staff did this on purpose because they were mad at us for asking questions. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this hole. They don't like people. All they care about is taking you for what they can, then they treat you like a dog.
Unique Quality: Everything about it is bad. The lobby floor is full of holes. The rooms are stinky. The beds are uncomfortable. It's too close to the highway and you can't get any sleep for the noise. Everyone blames everything on the hotel owner, a Richard Barton who's a real jerk and hates people.

The staff told us the hotel owner's girlfriend - calls herself the wife - is stationed in the office adjacent to the front desk, pushes her weight around acting defensive about the hotel shortcomings and yelling at the guests with legitimate questions and complaints. We were told this is a great source of embarrassment and disgruntlement to those employees who mean well. By 1:30 pm half of our party was still forced to wait out in the dirty, scuffed up lobby (after spending all night traveling). Instead of apologizing, the hotel manager - a Rick Bartlet - yelled at our guests, told us the front desk staff called him to say we were causing a scene at the lobby area (I assure you we were not). He told us if we didn't "... like it we can go somewhere else". GREAT IDEA! There's a friendly, clean Marriot just a couple of blocks away and we would have left that hell-hole in an instant except, half of our party was already in their rooms. A senior citizen member of our party was made to wait almost five hours, until 3pm to get into his room; I'm convinced the hotel management did this on purpose since they didn't like our questioning them. Do yourself a favor, and stay somewhere else. Don't let them ruin your event, or vacation.
