It was a great value for the money we spent. We were in the heart of the city, but only had to pay 1/3 of what the other hotels were charging. Let me tell you-- if you are trying to impress someone, it is not the way to go. But for our purposes, mainly sightseeing, it was excellent. It wasn't the prettiest, but it was safe and clean. The people at the front desk were also very nice. If we return to Chicago, we will definately stay there again-- unless we hit the lottery!
Unique Quality: The location was great. We were in walking distance of many attractions. If we didn't feel like walking, cabs were only like $5. The room was humid, and I often had trouble opening the door. The drink machine was not cold, but at least it didn't eat my money!
