I think this hotel used to be a Holiday Inn. I stayed in it when it was a Holiday Inn and it was so awful (the mattress sagged so that I almost had to tie myself onto it to avoid rolling off on the floor and the manager was snotty) that I moved out after one night. So I was reluctant to stay there again. But the renovation done by Doubletree changed all that.
I stayed here in 1997 because they gave a government rate and offered transportation to the OSHA Institute where I was attending a course. The government rate was $97.34/night. I also wanted a pool and free local calls. I also like a free breakfast and some kind of restaurant on site.
