Good Restaurnts Near Elk Grove ?
Hello,
My name is brothergrimiam@aol.com. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good restaurant near the Holiday Inn on Busse Rd in Elk Grove?
A group of my co-workers and I will be coming to the area in early march and would love to eat at a nice restaurant in the area. Please let me know of any.
I appreciate any and all help that is given. Thanks again,

I believe he's talking about Illinois, Elk Grove Village is out near the airport.
I did a run through the Elk Grove yellow pages on the internet and none of the restaurants popped out at me.
Will you have a car? There's a big mall, Woodfield, out in nearby Schaumburg where there are a bunch of restaurants-Shaw's Crabhouse, Maggiano's (Italian), and Big Bowl (Thai) are at a strip mall outside the mall. There's a Cheesecake Factory in the mall and a Ram microbrewery right outside the mall. I think you can find menus for all out on the internet.
In Arlington Heights, there is a Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen for cajun/seafood or La Tasca for Spanish tapas or Le Titi de Paris for French.
Of all these options, Le Titi de Paris is probably the nicest and the most expensive, haven't eaten there personally but I've heard good things about it. Shaw's is also very nice and a bit on the pricey side.
Maggiano's is good for a larger group of people, they serve family style if requested.
If none of these sound like good options, let me know and I'll see what else I can find.

There is a Portillo's over there for sandwiches and great burgers. Also a little Italian place called Cafe Mio that serves all homemade food that is par excellence. Both should run you about $10 for a meal. There is also a place called the Spaghetti Factory.

An even better place (2 of them) are down at Arlington Heights Rd. and Golf/Algonquin. One is called the Wellington, kind of a steak house. The other is called Yianni's and is Greek.
