BEWARE! Disgusting, Filthy Health Hazard
We booked a room, dropped our bags off inside the door of our room, and did not return until late night. Upon waking the next day, we were horrified when we found urine stains on the bed, shredded draperies, phone cord wiring hanging from the wall, water leak stains all over the walls, and "matter" caked on most surfaces of the bathroom.
Within 24 hours of leaving, we were both covered in red bumps. Galesburg, IL, Visitors Center confirms reports of bed bugs!
STILL waiting for a reply from the corporate offices. We have reported this to the Illinois Attorney General for consumer fraud.
Unique Quality: The only good thing I can think to say about this place is that it is near the beautiful downtown. Better to stay at a motel/hotel that would pass a health inspection and use a cab to access downtown.
