So-so with overpriced internet
We stayed at this hotel in November for a conference and were disappointed at the accommodations. The room was average in size -- for a Motel 6! along with the amount of furniture. At least the room was clean. The beds were okay, but nothing to write home about (heavenly is hype). The staff were friendly, but parking is not all that good, especially in winter. You can pay for a valet to park your car, if you're desperate, but I can walk, even in Chicago's windy weather. What astounded us most, was that very little is included with the room rate, so that places the price in the extravagant category. If you want internet access, prepare to pay almost $10 a night! For the two nights we stayed, the price (had I paid it) would have come close to equaling a month's DSL access at home. In my opinion, the hotel is no better than a two-star hotel. If given a choice (our convention was in the building), I would not return due to pricing -- and we had a discount for the convention!
