Clean, Convenient, and Quiet
This hotel is clean and has convenient access. Travelers whose destination is the west side of Indianapolis are limited to a very few hotels that are located in clean quiet and crime-free areas. This hotel qualifies. Guests can expect a quiet night's sleep in an uncongested area--yet convenient--located just off Interstate 74, 8 miles west of Indianapolis Interstate 465. The hotel is still very new--having only been in business for about 5 years.
Convenient access to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (15 Minutes)--home of the IRL Indy 500, the NASCAR Brickyard 400, and the Indianapolis Grand Prix; Indianapolis Raceway Park--home of several drag racing events including the IHRA National Championships (10 Minutes), Indianapolis International Airport (20 Minutes), Downtown Indianapolis (20 Minutes), The Indianapolis Zoo, White River Gardens, Victory Field--Home of the Indianapolis Indians, and White River State Park (25 Minutes); Conseco Field House--Home of the Pacers, and Lucas Oil Stadium--Home of the world champion NFL Colts (25 Minutes). Convenient to local shopping and many restaurant choices (Walmart, Kmart, Kroger, and Subway, Bob Evans, and several fast food restaurants--as well as upscale Boulder Creek restaurant, Green Street Station, and a couple of sports bars, McGilvery's and Tripp's Bar and Grille--serving the midwest's biggest and most delectable tenderloin dinner for about $7.
A best bet when arriving late in the evening for the traveler who wants to be able to wake up and not have to deal with heavy traffic, but simply get on the expressway and go.
A new Kohl's Department Store and Lowes will be opening in the Fall of 2007 near the hotel...yet still, the area remains uncongested.
All of this is provided at a reasonable price (some corporate rates and senior discounts are normally available).
Unique Quality: The hotel is right off the expressway, yet maintains a quiet sleepy ambiance because of the beautifully planned setting. It is surrounded by mature trees, and is separated from the expressway by a sound-deadening hill. The lobby is reminiscent of walking into a country chalet, with a lounge area and simple breakfast area on the left and the front desk on the right. And directly ahead is an indoor pool, and jacuzzi, inside a sound-attenuated room so as not to allow sounds from swimmers inside the pool area to carry into the lobby. All rooms are suites, and are pleasantly decorated, and all include microwave ovens and refrigerators, a small dining table, and small food preparation area for those who prefer to stay in and eat in their rooms.
Directions: From I-74, exit onto Green Street (Indiana Hwy 267) and turn South to the first intersection. Turn right (West) at the stoplight next to Bob Evans Restaurant (Northfield Drive), and continue about 300 yards to the hotel on the right.
