The Inn offers a variety of options.
There is the new multi-story deluxe wing. Every room looks out over the Ohio River and the town of Madison. You can watch the sunrise from your room or enjoy the warmth on an early morning, reading the paper on your patio. Late afternoon brings the shade of the buildings on hot summer days.
The standard rooms are located adjacent to the pool. Here, each room opens onto an enclosed walk with plenty of room for a table and chairs. It's like having a room expansion where the kids can play right outside the door and still be in from the cold or out of the heat.
The State Park Inns offers an old time experience. Here at Clifty Falls, the building is brand new, having been replaced since the tornado of 1977. There is a public room, just outside the restaurant, where you can spend a quiet evening enjoying a book, or join with new friends in watching the big sports event.
There is a patio area, where you can sit and watch an early sunrise or leisurely enjoy the evening watching the lights on the river and in the town below. If it's too hot, there is an glass enclosed sitting area right behind the patio.
