Clarion Hotel Fort Wayne

Close to everything!

I have stayed here 4 times and have never had a bad experience.

There are 13 floors, but they call the 13th floor 14. I am not superstitious.
I think the rooms are a little run down, but they are comfortable and quiet.
All rooms have cable television and free wireless internet.
There is a bar(Pip's Lounge) and restaurant(Sidewalk Cafe) in the lobby and multiple restaurants within walking distance, including a few fast food outlets.
There is an indoor swimming pool and guests are welcome to use the YMCA fitness center, located across the street.

On my my most recent stay, I took a walk around the area and there are so many things to see for such a small city!

Unique Quality: The hotel has always been quiet all times I have stayed there. There are railroad tracks within a half mile and some busy streets below and I have never heard the noise.
My most recent stay was in a room next to the elevator and ice machine and I did not hear either of them at all.
The staff has always been welcoming too! I even recognize most of them from previous stays and I notice they recognize me too.
The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to FWA airport, which is about 9 miles away.
