Branden, hotel clerk had our address wrong on reservation ,had us living in california, not Indiana did not want to correct our address, this person was very rude and aloof, had eyebrow ring and looked unclean, should not be behind desk and should not greet public ,very unprofessinal, next morn karla was very friendly & professional . room reeked of smoke & was a nonsmoking room, night stand had sticky ,gummy stuff where we cleaned it ourselves, room temp was very good w,nice king size bed, bathroom was clean, good hotwater, trash was outside hotel in courtyard, next to stripclub but quiet @ nite, price for this hotel should have been lower, would not stay their again.
Unique Quality: nice bed & room temp
Directions: industrial area ,w/ strip club an trucking co next door.

Re: snickers comedy club
by Ischyros
Not sure what kind of info you're looking for. As far as I know, Snickerz doesn't have a website so you'll have to call (260) 486-0216 to get a schedule of upcoming comedians. It's located at 5535 St. Joe Rd. in/near the Marketplace of Canterbury. It's hard to miss, especially at night when they have the neon lights on around the top of the building.
Travel Tips for Fort Wayne
Why all the apples?
by Ischyros
If you come to Fort Wayne, prepare to see everything named after apples. It's sort of like Atlanta with peaches. The reason is the famous American folk hero Johnny Appleseed is buried here. You can find his grave marker near the All County War Memorial Coliseum in Johnny Appleseed Park. That is why you will find places like the Apple Orchard in Glenbrook Mall and you will probably notice rows of apple trees planted along some stretches of roadways in town. It's all thanks to Johnny Appleseed!
Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory
by Ischyros
This conservatory stakes its claim as one of the best in the midwest. It's gardens are divided into three seperate "houses", the Showcase House with season displays, the Tropical House with orchids and palms and the sound of a rushing waterfall, and the Sonoran Desert House. The conservatory is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12-4pm. Closed Labor Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children 3-17 and free for children under 3.

"Come visit!"
Fort Wayne is a wonderful city with so much to do. It has the appeal of a smaller city, but the feel of a larger city. With the growth of downtown, we are well on our way for even more to do. There is something for everyone here!
