Poor Value!
I travel frequently for business with a major corporation spending on the average four nights a months in hotels, more if I throw in leisure travel. Confirmed my reservations at this hotel for the F-l Race Father's Day weekend. Upon arrival the two bedroom suite I reserved became two queen beds, which eventually became a one bedroom suite all for the same cost. The tub was backed up and no staff on duty to fix it, eventually they did someone in to fix it. There is no room service on the weekends (bedding, towels etc.). I never received my priority club points for the stay and on top of everything else; while trying to get fresh towels at the front desk the clerk was trying to sell someone a room for the night, the same one I just paid $209.00 plus tax for which was supposed to be a two bedroom suite. She brought the room down to $169.00 when they told her that was to expensive and they would try to get closer to the race track as they were on a budget, she asked what the budget was and then brought the price down to $149.00 for them and then reserved the price while they thought about it. Hearing the conversations I questioned her upon checkout, she tried to cover her bases and say that they were a corporate customer and stayed there often. Think of the conversation they had above, we all know corporate rates are predetermined prior to check in and are not negotiated on the phone. Apparently being a priority club member in this portion of the hotel chain means nothing and prices are not set in stone, they are made up by the clerk upon check in.
Unique Quality: The Loon Lake Lodge (Resturant) is right across the road, awesome food and atmosphere. Castleton Mall is just down the road.
