A little known, out of the way hotel...

by written on September 8, 2002

Rooms can be had here starting at $75 USD per night. This used to be my standard. I used to be able to get a room here even on the most crowded nights in the city when no hotels had any vacancy. But those days are gone as more and more people have found out about the Renaissance Tower. I even debated about putting it on VT, but I guess the cat is out of the bag anyway, so to speak.

Unique Quality: Another historic inn in downtown Indianapolis, but away from the majority of the other hotels, this inn is my secret place. The Renaissance Tower is actually set back in a residential area about nine blocks North of Monument Circle and is close to the bars and restaurants on Massachusetts Avenue.

Directions: The St. Joseph Historic District, nine blocks Northeast of Monument Circle between Delaware and Alabama Streets.
