The Road To Indianapolis
Shelbyville is located on highway 74 between Cincinnati and Indianapolis. It has an antique mall and two Chinese buffet restaurants.
In the old town center you can see a statue of a boy holding two bear cubs, commemorating the main character of a famous local author's book about life in rural Indiana during the early nineteenth century. Shelbyville is the hometown of Grover Cleveland's vice president, and in the small local museum you can walk through a replica of the town at the turn of the century.
