The Fighting Irish
by SURFIN7TH
The University of Notre Dame is most notably known for its exceptional football program. Regarded as one of the greatest college football dynasties in history, the Fighting Irish have won 11 concensus national championships and produced 7 Heisman Trophy winners. Some notable football greats are Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana, Hall of Fame and Heisman Trophy winning running back Paul Hornung, as well as future Hall of Famers such as wide receiver Tim Brown (the last member of the Fighting Irish to win the Heisman Trophy) and running back Jerome Bettis. The Fighting Irish are synonymous with their coaches, a number of whom have become legends based on their outstanding won-loss records achieved while coaching the team, most notably Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian, and Lou Holtz. Notre Dame Victory March
Rally sons of Notre Dame
Sing Her glory and sound Her fame
Raise Her gold and blue and cheer with voices true
Rah Rah for Notre Dame
We will fight in every game
Strong of heart and true to Her name
We will ne'er forget Her
And cheer Her ever
Loyal to Notre Dame
Chorus:
Cheer, Cheer for Old Notre Dame,
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
Send the volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky,
What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching
Onward to Victory.

"What to do"
If you live in this town then it's kind of hard to find something to do but I suppose for out of towners it's not a bad place to go. We do have bowling and movies, a zoo, some good parks nearby, including 2 skate parks. If you don't like the popular hangouts then you might have to dig for some place to go.

This is a picture of me and my father-in-law at the Notre Dame & Navy game Nov. 2001 last home game of the year. If you like football you have to come to a home game, because you will be a fan for ever!! Opps forgot to tell you father-in-law has a name, Paul Beebe, you will find him at most home games.
