Lincoln Monument

If you're on your way to visit Fairview Cemetery like I suggested under "Things to Do Tips", make sure you pull over to look at the Lincoln Monument. This is where Pres. Lincoln decided to make Council Bluffs the eastern terminus of the transcontinental railroad in 1859. There is a great view of CB and Omaha from this monument.
