The Absolutely Most Wonderful B&B!

John and Jane Settich are so incredibly wonderful hosts, you will NEVER want to leave. We spent 3 glorious nights here. Imagine a 3 course gourmet breakfast served daily whose menu is never repeated during your stay, warm made-from-scratch cookies in the evenings (or perhaps freshly prepared chocolate dipped strawberries), exquisitely comfy beds and fluffy towels, the warmest and most accomodating and informative hosts you'll ever meet, all within a historically designated hilltop estate with a hot tub and beautifully tranquil gardens. It's beautifully furnished with antiques, yet neither stuffy, dowdy or frilly. Imagine staying at a beautiful estate right out of the pages of Southern Living or Architectural digest. And yet it is immediately welcoming and homey. Oh, and did I mention it's walking distance to the fabulous Nell Hill shops. During our stay, we rescued an antique windmill from our ancestors farm. John not only offered, but insisted we allow him to dismantel, pack, AND dropped it off at the local UPS office for us. It arrived so securely and perfectly packaged as to put any professional shipper to shame, Also, when one of us left a bag behind at the Inn, he tracked us down in town to return it, as we had checked out that morning and were on our way to Leavenworth. Be advised, they have only 4 guest rooms and book up in advance. But definitely, work your schedule around staying at least one night at St Martins. I guarantee, it will be one of the most memorable stays of your life.
