Prairie Side Inn: Peaceful comfort in Denmark, Kansas

If you are looking for a place to get away to.....a place to take a time out....Spend some time out here at the Prairie Side Inn, where Ruth Sorensen and her family provide an excellent experience. We were welcomed there by Ruth at around 5pm on a Saturday. She gave us a tour of the home, which has 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, very comfortable beds, a dining and living room. There is TV also, but we did not use it.
Ruth is very interested in preserving the Danish heritage of Denmark, KS, and had a lot of questions about food and culture. She left the house to us for the evening, and then returned in the morning with her daughter-in-law to prepare us a Danish breakfast of Aebleskiver, some of which still reside in our freezer here in KC.

This is a wonderful place to get away too.....to relax with family and enjoy small town life. Highly recommended and we will return.
