It is not a very impressive building but if you are interested in wildlife, camping, fishing, or hunting you should stop in there. They will give you maps, leaflets, and all the advice you will need. There is a program to visit the booming grounds of the prairie chickens north of Emporia. In this office you can sign up to reserve the right to sit in the state's chicken blind one morning to see the birds up close.
