Building #207 houses the 1st Infantry Division Museum. The buildings at Fort Riley are all numbered. You would think you were on an orderly military base or some thing. The Custer House is #24 and the Cavalry museum is #205.
The building beyond the historical marker is the first territorial capitol. It is open from 10 to 5 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only and Sundays from 1 to 5. I was there on a Tuesday and only saw if from the out side. It is located on the east side of Fort Riley.
