Clarion Sports Complex: Gross Hotel
This is such a gross hotel because it is run down, musty and in the middle of nowhere. While I can say that there weren't cockroaches coming out of the walls, the place needs a HUGE over hall.
Unique Quality: It is practically on top of arrowhead stadium....but I would rather drive 20-30 minutes and stay somewhere nice, than stay here!

There are plenty of...
There are plenty of inexpensive hotels and motels all around Kansas City (and Kansas in general). Often the prices are advertised on the big signs beside a given hotel, so just pick your favorite one.

When my wife's mother was...
When my wife's mother was still alive we some times stayed over night with her. Now we just go up to KC for the day. My father likes to stay in one of the hotels near Crown Center because it is close to many things he enjoys. I would not want to suggest some place I have not stayed.

There are several high quality...
There are several high quality hotels in all price ranges to be found throughout the city. For a more classy hotel try the ones down on the plaza.
Unique Quality: Most of the hotels on the plaza have pools inside and out, workout facilities with good equipment, and some have great views of the city.
