The weekend was here again and my sister and brother-in-law had some time off. We all decided to crowd the car and head off to do some sightseeing mainly as a favour to me really! We came across this unusual place!

Il Vicino
Another great Italian place in Wichita is Il Vicino, an interesting place located centrally, just a few blocks north of Kellogg on Douglas. Il Vicino is a bit different from other dining experiences because you stand in line (and the line can be pretty long at times) to place your order, then sit down and wait for your food to be brought to you. The menu is fairly limited, but what they do offer is excellent, especially items that are baked in their wood-fired oven. This place can get pretty crowded because it's so popular, but tables seem to turn over relatively quickly.

There is so much to do in Wichita that I still have not been inside of the Wichita Art Museum.
I'd like to go because I hear there are works by artists like Remington and Russell. I've seen their paintings and sculptures before at Woolaroc and the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
