THE CANAL BY THE INTERSTATE
I'm looking for any unusual playground in the Wichita area. For example, perhaps it might be built over a stream, into a mountain, have unusual attractions, etc. Can anyone offer advice?

Now, I am not normally a squeamish sort of person, but remember on my opening page when I said everything is bigger in America? Well...... one look down here and my head started thumping, or was it my heart, or both? I did want to go down, really I did! Right down to the bottom, and I managed it........just...........with some help.
This is probably the closest thing to real Italian pizza I've found anywhere in the United States! The atmosphere is great, too. You can watch your pizza being prepared in the wood-fired oven. Pizza with pesto, pine nuts, and tomatoes
The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame at 238 N. Mead closed to the public as of Monday, September 7th 2009. The hall of Fame is moving to the Wichita Boathouse and the Newton Chisholm Trail Center. It is hoped that the Kansas Sports Museum at the Newton Chisholm Trail Center will open in November 2009 and the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame at the Wichita Boathouse in early 2010.
The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame features hundreds of colourful displays, video and photos devoted to the state's sports history.
