If at all possible...

If at all possible schedule your trip for some time in May when the city has it's Riverfest. There will be even more than ever to see and do. There will be arts, crafts, performances, and bed races near the river and Century II. The Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau can tell you more about that. 1-800-288-9424. Have many fond memories of Wichita. Watching the bed races is fun. The zoo is great. Spent an entire day just visiting the museums in town and still did not see them all.

Spangles is the best fast food, nothing comes close. Also the drive thru on kellog and rock is open all night and on weekends you can the whole thing is open all night

Experience the old west in an 1870's cattle town and see history come alive. We watched a black smith working at his forge and took a tour with a lady in period costume.

Hello all !! Well I live in Wichita, Ks for about all my life. I have visited overseas but I am not going to put them down because I was little and I dont remember going. SO I am started fresh here. :)
Wichita is becoming a very pretty city. We have around 400,000 people here. We are the largest city in the state but of course not the capital.
I bet you all are wondering why I didnt start this page first. Well the reason why is because I dont have much pictures of Ks. But that will change, dont worry. Well I hope you have fun. Enjoy!! BTW There is some post cards in here. I will change them out as soon as I get some of Wichita.
