This Howard Johnson's Express Motel is really a good value, at least on our most recent stays. Nancy and I have stayed at cheaper motels in the Wichita area, but to be honest, they always seemed a little trashy. This has proven to be always well-maintained, fairly inexpensive, and not too far from the interstate, airport, eating places, or downtown.
Two minor drawbacks: 1. It is near the airport; however, Wichita's airport is not very busy at night, so the noise is bearable. 2. It's kind of hard to get to, as the exits off of Kellogg/US-54 are very confusing.

This Howard Johnson's Express Motel is really a good value, at least on our most recent stays.
