Hampton Inn Horse Cave
There are few hotel options in Horse Cave or in either of the other small towns near Mammoth Cave National Park. Most people opt for the Mammoth Cave hotel but the Hampton is an old reliable option which is only about 10 miles from the park. The hotel is located off a virtually deserted exit with only a truck stop and 24 hour diner as nearby options for, well, anything. The exit leads to a road that winds through a pretty section of the Kentucky countryside and am Amish (I think it was Amish) community. Its a relatively peaceful spot and everything is typical Hampton. So you know what you're getting here. A room that's clean and comfortable, a breakfast that could use improvement but an overall good experience.
