From the moment we arrived at this recently renovated Hyatt hotel, we could tell that things were radically different. From the newly renovated guest rooms to the re-design of its new BlueFire Bar and Grill, it was clear that the Hyatt Regency Lexington has embraced a "guest-first" approach when it comes to customer service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lexington, Kentucky, and would encourage anyone who has stayed here prior to 2010 to make it your destination again. You will be blown away by all the changes and updates.
Unique Quality: Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Great newly renovated rooms with added luxury and very comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the new BlueFire Bar and Grill. Its re-designed area puts you in a good mood from the start, and the breakfast food is fabulous. The changes have certainly made a difference in a guest's experience.

We stayed at this hotel over Easter (2005) and had a wonderful time. It was almost eerily quiet, which is different considering that I am usually there during concerts at Rupp Arena when the place is packed and rocking, but I welcomed the almost dreary silence of the place. It IS a little dated and could use a renovation to the rooms, but the bathrooms are nice and the views of Triangle Square and Victorian Square are amazing. DeShae's restaurant is right across the street, as well as some great shopping, and it is within walking distance to several other great venues like Bellinis, the Dame, and the Opera House.
The hotel has an indoor pool and a fitness center, as well as a fabulaous atrium bar. The staff were incredibly attentive and the highlight of our stay was the enormous Easter dinner buffet in the restaurant. I could have eaten for days off of it-fantastic!
Directions: Connected to Rupp Arena and the Civic Shops.
