It reminded me of the early motor lodges that spread across the country in the 1950's and 1960's. Before the advent of large chain motels. Local flavor, clean, need and with a wonderful setting. We were there mid-week and it was quiet. A high school tournament in town brought in lots of traffice for 3 days, but the pool, restaurant and grounds was able to absorb everyone.
Unique Quality: There is a vast variety of options. They include a continental breakfast in the dining room, which is open in the evening. The motel is finished in Kentucky Horse country style witha gracious lobby, sitting area, restaurant and bar.
