Friday's and BW3's.... chains of course
I realize these are chains, but oh well. They both have that interactive trivia game that's a lot of fun, and they're both good places to just hang out, have a beer, and talk or play the game.
Everyone knows Outback... chain restaurant. But that's ok, most of the restaurants in Louisville are chains.... Outback is very good though... I generally get some sort of chicken smothered in mushrooms and cheese. Very unhealthy! :)
If you are a baseball fan, this is an obvious must-see activity. If you are not, even the most anti-baseball person will enjoy this museum. You start off with a movie of baseball's most exciting moments, adjourn into a museum full of interesting tidbits where you wait for your tour of the factory. At the end of the tour everyone gets a miniature Louisville Slugger to take home...just don't try to carry it on the plane. It is sure to get confiscated!
Chartered by the Kentucky General Assembly in 1848, this cemetery is the final resting place of many luminaries, including Colonel Harlan Sanders and George Rogers Clark, the city's founder. It is among the most beautiful cemeteries anywhere.
