A relaxing stay
This Comfort Inn receives good reviews for its service and location, and I will concur. Check-in was very quick, and we found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next day was your standard waffles and pastries...pretty typical for the Comfort Inn.
The location is great - we were at both Louisville Slugger and Churchill Downs within 15 minutes. There are plenty of restaurant and grocery options nearby. And despite being off a busy highway, the noise is pretty minimal.
The one downside is getting in and out of the parking lot. We needed to head north to get on the interstate, but crossing Dixie Highway was impossible. So, you have to utilize some U-turns to get north. A minor quibble in the grand scheme of things.
Overall, a great selection if staying in the Louisville area!
