Cheap place to crash
Bardstown Road is the restaurant row of Louisville. It is the place to be on the weekends and I spent the evening there last weekend. Ate at an Irish pub, visited the Phoenix Hill for a show, then just socialized until the wee hours. This motel is the only chain on the strip so we crashed there Friday night. It was clean,as quiet as could be considering the interstate, and there were waffles in the morning. A great deal for $59.
Unique Quality: There was an indoor pool. We arrived too late to check it out. There was a hot breakfast with waffles and juice and laundry facilities.
