Herndon J. Evans Lodge: Mountaintop Lodge and Resort
This mountaintop facility boasts 30 modern guest rooms, and an older rustic lobby built of stone and logs by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930's.
Every room has a balcony or patio. There is also a very nice mountain view restaurant, swimming pool, golf, picnic areas, numerous hiking trails and much more. Not just a place to sleep, this is a destination within itself.
