Sigmon Farm
Although Renfro Valley is famous for its Barn Dance, concerts, and historic village, it is Sigmon Farm that I am focusing on. I am good friends with the Sigmons and have been now for 14 years. I spent a lot of time on the farm as a teenager and now go back for some of the events that they host.
"What They Have"
The farm is a working farm that grows a lot of vegetables and sells them to loca vendors. They also have Alfalfa and Mixed Hay, Straw, Field Corn, Pumpkins, Beef Cattle, Hogs, Goats, and Garden Plants. In the fall they have their annual Pumpkin Festival where you can go out on a hayride and pick a pumpkin, as well as farm tours for school groups.
"Directions"
Exit 62 off of I-75 at Renfro Valley. Go north on I-75 about 4 miles, turn left onto Junction 3275, about one mile to interstate overpass, turn right before crossing overpass. Continue to end of road, about one mile.
