I can't have a picture of one nephew without including the other. This is also at the park - a favorite Birthday Party destination for my neffews. Brock's favorite color is blue, but he wore green just for Dakota (the birthday boy).
Denham Springs is in Livingston Parish, just east of East Baton Rouge Parish... the two are separated by the Amite River. When traveling on I-12, you can't really tell that Denham is a different city than Baton Rouge. They are starting to blend together, although Denham is admittedly more rural and, how do we say this nicely… redneck & coonass, although many industries have sprung up there, in fact, my research site is in Denham Springs.
Lots of people have moved from Baton Rouge to Livingston (hence all the growth) but still work in BR, which causes a strain on the inadequate infrastructure in Denham. Not really a tourist attraction, I'm not saying that Denham Springs doesn't have anything to offer, but it is mostly a family oriented place and everything that you need is in Baton Rouge.
My nephew Dakota had his 4th birthday party at a park in Denham Springs this summer. Can you guess his favorite color?
