I have not stayed here but it looked pretty, so I took the picture while walking to the "Shadows". The docent who was walking with us gave us to understand that it had formerly been the home of one of the Shadows supervisory employees. It isn't mentioned on the Inn website, although I know that the Shadows land once extended from the river out to the Burger King near US 90, so it would seem entirely probable that this home was inside that zone. The main house dates from 1870.
Unique Quality: The AAA lists this as a three diamond property. It is no smoking and some age restrictions may apply. There is free parking. and a garden
Their website says: "Each room offers a king size bed, full bath (some with Jacuzzi tubs), stocked refrigerator, cable television, high speed internet service, private telephone, luxury linens, plush bath robes, premium bath products, patios overlooking the gardens, and a gourmet, country breakfast each morning."
Apparently from reading the reviews and the webpage, you do not stay in the main house which is pictured. Six rooms from $110 to $130/night
