Wonderful B&B!

A WONDERFUL romantic place in the Garden District. Joe & BeBe are great hosts & they enjoy making your vist a pleasant one. Their Victorian B&B is a place to relax & enjoy. If you have never been to NOLA before, believe me they will make you stay a very enjoyable one. They have a saying....Don't just visit New Orleans, LIVE IT!!.

This is my third time saying at their inn & I wouldn't stay anywhere else! My friend likes it too as she is pampered all of the time!!

Unique Quality: A very nice, clean comfortable B&B. It's just plain great!

Honeymoon Paradise

What a wonderful house!!! The surroundings were so romantic, and perfect for our honeymoon stay. The owners were wonderful, they greeted us at teh door and were very inviting. They also set us up with great places to eat and visit, always making sure that everyone knew that we were on our honeymoon. They even let us borrow their umbrella, and were not upset when we lost it! Our room were amazing, we had antique furniture, and a good view of the street car line from our massive windows. I can't wait to go back soon!!!

Spent a wonderful weekend!

We came down to New Orleans during Mardi Gras rather on short notice and got the last two rooms. My wife and I had a glorious, large, sunny, and well-appointed room. My daughters had a much smaller, but cozy, room. Joe and Bebe were friendly and made helpful dining and shopping suggestions. The B&B is well located in the heart of the Garden District, which is very much where we wanted to stay. The only shortcomings were that breakfast was rather on the spartan side for a B&B and that I didn't find the common rooms to be really inviting places to relax.

Fun in the Big Easy!

What a great time for a couple of yankees at Mardi- Gras!! Joe and Bebe are excellent innkeepers,with a great house! Very comfortable rooms, very generous breakfast, and good location made our stay outstanding.
We were even upgraded to a better room at no extra charge! See you next (fat) Tuesday!

Another wonderful stay...Great to visit and try a different room....we plan to keep coming back until we've stayed in all of 'em....Joe and Bebe were warm and gracious....can't wait to return...

Great Reunion at the Avenue Inn

We had a college reunion with thirteen fraternity brothers and their wives/girlfriends. We had people from New York, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Washington, D.C., and Louisiana. Joe and Bebe (the owners) set up the entire weekend. Everyone had a great time. The inn is convenient to many great restaurants and right on the street car line. Everyone liked their accomodations and Joe and Bebe proved to be the perfect hosts.

We'll go back for our next event.

Where to stay when on a business trip

Our company took the opportunity to stay at the Avenue Inn Bed & Breakfast during the recent American College of Cardiology annual meeting this year. It was the best decision we could have made. Joe & Bebe arranged for our group of 12 to meet every morning and evening for business strategies & de-briefings by opening up their parlor & dining areas. We were assisted by their pleasant staff serving breakfast in the mornings & snacks in the evenings.Joe went out of his way to not only find us great restaurants to dine in but also pulled the "strings" to get our large group in for reservations at the last minute. He even went so far as to give a ride in his personal car to one of our group that missed their cab... a little too hungover I guess.The best part of the stay was the sleep. Because we were staying in a home as opposed to a hotel, we all slept as if we were in our own homes & beds. Extremely comfortable & accomodating. I for one, will be back.

Wonderful room, excellent service, and friendly, helpful hosts - what more could one ask? Oh, yes - great room rate. We spent five very comfortable days in this lovely mansion and highly recommend it.

Extended family stayed at Inn, used all 15 rooms for 4 days. Great experience. Inn keeper was great help in organizing and assisting family as we prepared and conducted a wedding nearby. Will return to Inn for any stay in New Orleans. Innkeeper went extra mile to make family comfortable.
