Hotel Maison De Ville And The Audubon Cottages right at the center of the French Quater.
It has two locations, first is a three-story building, the other (a few short blocks away from the first) has a pool and with several independent units, each unit is a little courtyard (even with a kitchen if you need).
It has its own restaurant serving excellent gourmet food. Every morning, you can have your breakfast either in the main courtyard or in your room, every morning, a long stem rose will come with your breakfast.
The little courtyard is very pretty and quiet. We first stayed in the suite on the third floor of its first location (where Tennessee Williams once stayed or even wrote his famous 'Street Car Named Desire' there) then the second location. Wonderful service and knowledgable staff.
Dining:
The Bistro at the Maison de Ville offers excellent food. "It was recently named top “Haute Restaurant” by the Zagat Guide, along with a host of other awards and accolades." - According to its own website.
Restaurant phone: 504.528.9206
Rooms/Cottages:
How about stay in the room where T. Willilams completed 'Streetcar named desire' after a streetcar ride during the day? Enjoy the gorgeous breakfast with a long stem rose in the morning (either in your room or in the little garden courtyard).
Or have a cottage with your own courtyard, and shared a swimming pool at The Audubon Cottages.
