perfect for the location
Prince Conti Hotel is set in a 19th century era brick structure (pic 1) having 76 rooms on three floors. We found an offer for $55 per night through their site which was perfect as it’s almost impossible to find a reasonably priced hotel at French Quarter.
Don’t forget that Conti street is off Bourbon street, so you can be near the crazy nightlife but also be at your bed in less than 2-5’ which was excellent for us. What’s more, although the hotel is near Bourbon street it was very quiet but some other room may have problem.
We made our reservation through their site when they had an offer (double room for $58) which was a great bargain for the location.
We Checked in quickly at the reception (pic 2) and took the elevator up to the hotel. The room was good for the category, clean and the bed big and comfortable. The decoration is a bit heavy, definitely outdated but who really cares. Some new carpets will make the rooms look much better though. The A/C was ideal during our stay because the humidity levels are high in New Orleans.
The bathroom was clean which is important but very small with little space for your toiletries. We had 8 new towels every day (more than enough for a couple)
The staff was very helpful with us and they also called for a tour when we asked one.\ The last day they called for a taxi that took us to the airport (no extra cost)

good place & location
the hotel is 1/2 block off bourbon on conti st. so, it's close to everything in the quarter. i've stayed there twice and the staff has been friendly/helpful. the rooms are clean and prices are good.
Unique Quality: they offer parking (costs extra) and your car is right on site. never takes long for the valet to get your car. since i usually drive to new orleans, this is a bonus for me. i've had problems parking at other hotels in the french quarter.

Prince Conti Hotel
I booked my room directly from the hotel website for December, 2004, and received a rate of $49 for Thursday night, and $79 for each of Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel is 3 stories tall, has an elevator, and there is a restaurant (Ms. D's Bistro) and a restaurant/bar (The Bombay Club) on the premises. Parking is $14/day. The people at the reception desk and the maids can be a bit indifferent, though the valet/luggage guys are VERY nice.
Unique Quality: My room was like a mini suite. It contained a king-size bed with a chair and TV in one area; the "sitting" area had a sofa, a desk & chair, and an armoire with another TV. The bathroom was a tad small, but was not a problem for me.

Fun little hotel
The hotel is a few feet of Bourbon Street, near the Conti Wax Museum. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The elevator (lift) is old fashioned with an inner gate.
Unique Quality: My buddy and I stayed here during the summer, when they have special rates, and had a blast. One of the staff was so helpful that it felt like we had a friend in town. He gave us the low down on the clubs and restaurants. I could defiantly see staying here again.
we stayed at the prince conti last time i was in nola and this place is right across the street. need less to say, we ended up there a few times. always felt welcomed by the bartender, the prices are fair, music is jukebox (johnny cash to ministry), and they carry a couple of premium beers. it's cozy to small, but who cares, they are open 24/7. at least i think they are. we stayed there until just before daylight the last night in town and they still had people at the bar. i'll be back!
Would Stay Here Again

We stayed at the Prince Conti Hotel for a week during Jazzfest, and even with the full-to-capacity status of the hotel, the rooms were cleaned every day, towels were re-stocked (and extras were available! ) and the staff was never to busy to help out with any request we may have had. The hotel is in a great location (right off of Bourbon St., next to a deli, in the middle of the quarter). Also, the air conditioner was in great working order-- which is important when you're hot and the weather is humid all of the time. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this hotel next time we travel to New Orleans.
Great Hotel at a Great Price!

My husband and I stayed at the Prince Conti in July of 2003. The staff was incredibly friendly. The housekeepers, the concierge, the bellhops, everyone providied an excellent level of customer service. The rooms were well appointed and clean. The price was fantastic! And I loved how centrally located the Hotel was. It was very convenient for those quick bathroom trips while out partying on Bourbon Street. It was also a convenient place for us to stop and drop our bags off during the day. I would definitely stay there again

Just spent a long weekend in the French Quarter and the Prince Conti was perfect. Great location, nice, comfortable accommodations, and mostly friendly service. A very reasonable price for the French Quarter. It's well worth it to pay a little extra to be that close to Bourbon St. We were surprised at how quiet it was in general (although the walls are a little thin, we could hear the people in the next room).
Great time

Very nice, reasonably-priced and very well-kept rooms in the heart of the French Quarter, with a friendly, helpful staff. The courtyard was relaxing, and inviting.
Note: We chose this hotel after reading TripAdvisor feedback, which kept us from making a costly mistake. Invaluable advice from other travelers helped make it a great trip. Thanks, TripAdvisor.com.
Convenient, bset for sound sleepers

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice. Location is very convenient. Being so close to Bourbon street, the rock music invades the room, if you are unlucky to have a room on that side. They need to install double pane windows. Another problem with being so close is that when the drunks come back to their rooms at all hours of the night, they make a LOT of noise. Walls are thin. During the week, this shouldn't be a problem, but weekends are another story. Breakfasts at the adjacent restaurant were really pricy, so we passed and went for beignets.

We are considering this hotel during our upcoming stay. Any comments about this hotel?

I've only seen it from the outside, but I have considered staying there before. It looks nice. The location is okay. Close enough to the fun, but quiet.
I like the fact that it has a restaurant & lounge.
We just got back. We stayed at the Ramada on Bourbon. We had a Toulouse balcony. It was really quite nice. I figured it would be too loud at night, being right on Bourbon, but it wasn't at all.
It was very convenient having our own personal bathroom on Bourbon Street!!!!!!!!

The hotel is nice right in the Quarter the parking is bad if you have a car.
