Our company booked us all here for the IFT show at Morial in July. I have ta say, I was pretty impressed! The staff was VERY helpful & kind, the hotel was clean, and the suites are pretty dang nice too. They have a great internet hook up, a separate little living room area, TWO TVs, nice bathrooms!
The rooms are good sized. The best part was it was about 3 blocks from the convention center. If you're going to N.O. for that reason, I'd stay at the Springhill! Saves money on cab fares (you can cab-it later on at night to the Quarter)... and the walk was very safe.
Unique Quality: I saw the pool but didn't use it; it looked clean. The hotel offered a breakfast every morning, which I think everyone I work with bypassed because we sort of went our separtae ways in the AM, but the breakfast sounded good. NO view at all from the windows, etc., cuz you're in the warehouse district... but that's no big deal.
Directions: Warehouse District; about 3 blocks to the Morial Convention Center.
