10 minute walk from the Quarter

I had read a few bad comments on this place after booking my stay on-line so I was a bit nervous.
Boy, was I wrong! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and the room was huge! The blackout curtains were a nice addition, keeping the room pitch black after a long night in the Quarter. Each room also has a button-activated safe, large enough to fit a laptop so I had no worries aobut the room getting broken into when I was out and about.
On the down side, the building is pretty old and some of the attempts at modernizing it are a bit startling... there were two sprinkler heads poking out of the wall right over my bed, and there was a piece of wallpaper missing here and there. Other than that I was very impressed, the place was clean, inexpensive and ideally located.
I intend to stay here again on my next visit to N'Awlins

Unique Quality: The room was huge. It's bigger than a number of Manhattan apartments I've been in!

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
