Directly across from Bangor Civic Center...
-If I was coming to Bangor just for the festival...I would consider this a primo spot to set up as base camp.
Nothing particularly amazing about the place...your average hotel .
Location is what I am recommending here.
Call in reservations early or you will be SOL.
-Very Handy Spot For National Folk Festival
-Free Continental Breakfast
-Adjacent to McDonalds
I think it's worth the 15 minute drive out of Bangor. You are still within a comfortable distance of the Queen city and as a bonus, are afforded a wonderful view of Phillips Lake.
Now, doesn't that sound nice?
The Inn, which some say is haunted, is just 55 minutes from Mount Desert Island, home to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
