Nice room, great food
We stayed at the Cedar Crest Motel in mid May 2006. The room was a nice size. Bed was fine. The bathroom and amenities in it were above average.
The restaurant at the motel (separate owners) was excellent. We had fish and chips for dinner (large serving). The next morning blueberry pancakes (reasonably priced). The waitstaff was so nice as well as the chef. We noticed very large loaves of crusty bread by us and were told they were baked on the premises over night. We bought one for $3.00.
Having noticed other patrons eating a pizza the night before we decided to wait to leave Camden until after lunch so we could get one of our own. We weren't let down. The restaurant really caters for the locals so it's not a "touristy rip off joint." The food is very good and the prices are good as well.
Unique Quality: Pool, nice size room, nice bathroom amenities. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. GREAT RESTAURANT. Unfortunately it rained the day we were there but the ground (few acres) looked nice.
