My family has been spending summers up here since sometime in the 1920’s. I didn’t start anywhere near that early but the tradition still runs deep and I get back every chance I get.
I’ve been told the road around “the Point” is the longest stretch of coastal road in Maine. I don’t know if that is true or not but is a nice drive and a even better walk.
It is a wonderful place to get away and relax. There just isn’t much to do but climb around on rocks, enjoy the view or swim.
Warning-Swimming is not for the faint of heart, the water is cold!!
